Spirit Guides are a gift from God, or at least that is my belief. They are those who exist on another plane who walk with us to help, heal, teach, watch and protect us during our life journey. They exist on a higher frequency than that of earth and communicate with us in many ways.

How spirit communicates with us is universal and each person possesses the gift. However, that being said, it is not all who are open or accepting enough to recognize those gifts given and use them to help enhance their life path.

The number of guides one has depends on that person’s life plan. Before coming to flesh we sat with our spirit guides, soul guides, guardian angels, angels and life guides to lay out our plan of growth. In this life plan, we worked on each detail which would put us in a position to gain spiritual growth while we are in flesh. A lesson of patience is possible because one of our life guides who chose to walk this path with us, creates a situation which allows us to gain understanding. For instance, a man kills a loved one, it is up to us to wallow in self pity, hatred and anger or we can choose to forgive and grow from the emotional turmoil this episode created in our life. Each moment we gain knowledge is to allow us to also pass that knowledge to another who will experience like circumstances in life. What about the life guide who took another’s life? Thank goodness they were spiritually strong enough to sacrifice their own growth to help us gain the understanding we need to place us in God’s light and love.

I had an uncle who sexually abused me from a very young age. I didn’t like this human being, did not like who he was, the pain he brought to so many of us children in the family and to this day I find it hard to forgive him the wrongs he did. I do however, try to find peace past that experience. If he had not done what he did I would not have compassion for abused child sexual survivors nor have the ability to lead them to inner peace. Without that trauma I would not have learned forgiveness and acceptance that it is a flesh thing and did not take from the spirit of who I am or where in life I am to travel.

I know, I am rambling again, and I also know that several of you are sitting there shaking your heads and thinking to yourself…….WTF. That is ok, because what I believe is not what you are going to believe and that is really what life is about, each person finding their own way to spiritual understanding.

So let’s talk about these guides, first we’ll talk about life guides. Life guides are those who chose to walk in flesh with us. They will interact throughout our lives either for the whole journey or coming in and out for fleeting moments to enhance our understanding.

Spirit guides are those guides who travel with us during our life time and come to us as we need them. You know those moments when you have a sincere inspiration to write or paint. Those moments you chose not to board a train or plane. Those moments when we know our children are in danger and we react without thinking. Most call this gut instinct, I recognize it as those guides whose soul purpose while we are here is to protect and guide us when we need them, coming and going as the situation presents.

Soul guides are pure in their dedication to us, while we are living our incarnations through this realm and many more. When we make our life plan, we have those who choose to make the full journey with us. They do not leave us when one incarnation is finished but rather they stay until our complete cycle of growth is complete. Soul guides most often present in our visions as one but in fact they are many. Depending on the person and the level or growth there should be one to seven with each of us, but that is not set in stone. They are a vital part of the collective consciousness of all things. They know us as well as we know ourselves and work to protect us from those things we can not handle and to keep us on the path we have chosen to travel. Not all of us can finish our lives for one reason or another, if we come here and one of our life guides is not fulfilling their part of the bargain we might chose to leave early and start again. Some of us will not open to the guidance available because we also have free will while in this life and some may chose to walk the path alone. Whatever the reason, we lose sight of the fact that these guides are with us and we have only to open to their light to become one with them.

Let’s talk about our physical reality. We are a walking magnetic energy field. Our brain sends electrical impulses throughout our body. The theory is that spirit needs high levels of electromagnetic fields to manifest or present to us. There is also the theory of Soul Sparks, this is when your soul sparks in the third dimension and splits into two, one coming to live the other remaining in spirit. One in the higher frequency and one in the lower frequency of the electromagnetic field and it is when we see these sparks that our soul rejoins. Often they will last for just a second and they will most often appear blue, green, yellow, violet or gold. It is thought that this spark draws us back to the whole of spirit once we finish our journey in life. Our DNA is encoded to conclude at this juncture. It is thought that those who do not connect with their spark soul feel lonely and often out of touch with this life. They never experience the union and matter and anti matter and therefore are not complete.

How does this play into the larger scheme of things? Well, we can meet someone who carries the same frequency as our spark soul and they can fulfill some of the loneliness we experience. They can give you a feeling of oneness and union. Our spark soul works with us also as a part of us to help us through life in the flesh, always our subconscious guide.

Angels are constant in our lives, they are of God, they are God and they are the purest of all protection and love from God. They are his messengers, his hand upon our lives and in our hearts; they are all things which we strive to be in spirit. They have never lived life here in the flesh and are not tainted by misconceptions. They do not interfere with our lives they are only here to protect us from those things which can do us serious harm in spirit. This does not mean harm will not come to the flesh, but it is their mission to protect our soul so that it returns to the light of God’s love when we pass from this life.

As you have gathered, I am just briefly touching on these subjects. They are personal to me and I do not expect others to embrace my personal beliefs. I just want you to open your eyes and your souls to the whole picture. In flesh we are vulnerable, prone to disease, to pain and despair, but in spirit we are lifted above these things and kept whole so that when we die we have assurance of life everlasting.
